  24. I don't think that the people from Play leaving made that much of a
  25. diference in the current NewTek situation. I think, in the next year it may
  26. kill them. I think running out of cash was a much bigger problem and not
  27. anticipating the commodore demise as quickly got them to were they are now.

  29. I still am really miffed at NewTek for their lightwave upgrade policy. If
  30. it weren't for my internet access I would have been left out in the dark
  31. like alot of people I know. NewTek never did a mailing announcing any
  32. changes and when VTU announced the upgrade policy it had just a month left.
  33. Has anyone ever tried to get a Purchase Order cut within 30 days? It rarely
  34. happens.

  36. Does anyone out there have an idea of how many toasters and flyers NewTek
  37. has sold?
  38. I think if NewTek is to survive they really need to hunker down, and
  39. support their existing products. Then develope the stand alone
  40. Toaster/Flyer box to run on as many systems as possible. This product with
  41. have to bullet proof before it ships. Everyone in the Video industry that
  42. has heard of the Flyer now thinks it's a joke. NewTek can't afford to do
  43. this with another product.

  47. The internet is truely the only venue we all have for up to date
  48. information. I'm almost to the point of cancelling my Video Toaster User
  49. subsciption. It's a shame that the magazine is interested in having there
  50. big expo than reporting important information to the toaster community at
  51. large.
